This looks like it could be the funniest movie ever made. I'm a huge Borat fan, but this almost had me burst my sides laughing... everytime I think of some of the things in this trailer I have to supress a giggle.
For those of you not in the know, Borat is a character played by British comic Sacha Baron Cohen - better known for Ali G. Ali G is all well and good, but I think Borat is his best character by far. Borat is a journalist from Kazakhstan and basically he goes around filming stuff for a TV station back in his home country. Like his other characters, Cohen uses the very politically incorrect Borat as an outlandish devil's advocate - trying to catch people out for being snobs, racists, homophobes, whatever. All the people he talks to are real and unsuspecting - it's very funny stuff.
Borat featured on Ali G's show occasionally and I've always found his segments to be the funniest and most convincing. Borat also made a brief appearance in the fairly dismal Ali G movie. Judging from this trailer it looks like Cohen may have gotten this movie spot on, unlike the Ali G film.
Can't wait.
