Everybody's favourite incomprehensible boxing champion, Milo Kerrigan, has popped up in a few videos on YouTube. Some of them aren't the greatest quality, but they're still entertaining nonetheless.
I have to admit, I never really found the show 'Full Frontal' to be all that amusing. It always seemed to be a rather pale carry-on of the vastly superior 'Fast Forward'. But if there was one thing I found funny in 'Full Frontal' it was Shaun Micallef's somewhat surreal and off-kilter contributions to the show. Micallef's Milo Kerrigan, along with Eric Bana's complaining Polish immigrant, is one of the few amusing characters to come out of 'Full Frontal', and I'm happy to say that (watching these videos at YouTube) it still manages to get more than a few smiles out of me.
For those of you who don't know, Milo is a retired Australian boxer... a champion of 72 knockouts (including two he inflicted on his opponents) and a man so disfigured and punchdrunk from his various injuries in the ring that his speech no longer resembles anything approaching English.
Some of Milo's sketchs can apparently be found on 'The Incomplete Shaun Micallef' DVD.
