Spotted this over at Aint It Cool News.com...
Trailer for 'Planet Terror' - Robert Rodriguez's half of the film 'Grindhouse', the other half of which is by Quentin Tarantino.
This film looks too cool for words... oh man, just watch the fucking clip!
Features a big cast of B-grade cream too... Kurt Russell, Rosario Dawson, Rose McGowen, Danny Trejo, Michael Parks, Jeff Fahey, Naveen Andrews and Eli Roth, plus stacks more of recognisable faces.
It's a double feature, and there'll be fake ads and fake trailers between the two films (a trailer for a spaghetti western, a blaxploitation film, a sexploitation film, etc, etc). Should be a lot of fun.

So what is the movie, like 2 short films made into one with ads in between? Do they run on to each other or are they 2 seperate movies? The one in the preview is...which movie?

I knew Tarantino and Roderiguez would do something like this sooner or later ... both of them paying (further) "homage" to their filthy exploitation roots ...
I just PRAY that they go for broke and tell the MPAA to shove it, so that the double-whammy goes out UNRATED, like Dawn of the Dead and Day of the Dead were ...
I love the choppy editing and lurid colours. The look and feel of the trailer is probably especially designed for the trailor itself. You can hear the drive-in "audience" cheering in the background.
And the sex and violence exploitation trailers in between the two features will be a wicked hoot no doubt!
